Team Arrow had defeated Prometheus and had escaped Lian Yu.

But in the process the last few weeks had wrecked Thea enough that a simple summer cold had basically knocked her flat. Nothing serious thankfully, just a combo of stress and a summer cold messing her up all at once.

So she was basically stuck indoors on bed rest for a mere cold when she felt that now familiar chill that was Trunks's typical arrival. Little did she know it was a wild round of time travel phone tag since Felicity had called Ray who called Rip who called Trunks. Between coughing fits she calls from the sofa,"I know that chill anywhere!" as a nasty sneeze can be heard. But he would find her on the couch with enough tissues to stock a small army and looking as miserable as she sounded on the phone the prior night when she made it back to Star City.

Thea had given in mostly out of sheer misery and knowing someone was filling in. She drops a return kiss knowing Trunks can't get sick,"Day before yesterday on all fronts, got sick right after getting back." meaning recent events.

If he could, they hadn't found what would do it yet; maybe if someone targeted him specifically for his genetics, but that'd be difficult to do. At least he was also no longer blushing with basic affection, leaning his forehead against hers. "Right. Then no scolding for you yet. What do you feel up to doing, and what would you like?"

Food, rest, cuddling for a bit? What would help, since he'd handled the major issue. Namely that he'd be taking her patrols so she wouldn't worry about that.

Thea had a feeling about that so she had pulled out a spare mask from a drawer. "Bad movies and cuddles?" making room on the sofa for Trunks as she spoke. "And what did I miss during this last round of crazy?" hoping for some good stories or gossip.

The spare mask made him grin, and he shook his head. "Don't need it, have a costume already." Bad movies and cuddles he could do, appreciating her making more room for him properly instead of him just shoving things over. "I'm also stuck on restrictions, since this is not an official business trip."

Trunks wasn't worried about them though. He'd be working with a team--albeit her team--and most of the every day stuff in her world was easy compared to his every day life. It'd be fine, even though he was trying to not let himself get cocky.

"You haven't missed much, as things have been calmer. Rebuilding is going well, so far. I've kind of tried to let Mom handle most outreach, and she's found some others to help too." Mostly because he was a bit uncomfortable with the spotlight.

It wasn't 'unknown' who he was, and he had no reason to hide. But being the one who'd killed the Androids had given him a reputation, which had grown into almost a legend. He wasn't sure he could even live up to it, and it was arguably about him.
