What would you like your character's tag to be?: Thea Queen
Answer the following questions in no less than 300 words but no greater than 1000 words put together...
Character's background (their past and present): In the course of three seasons Thea Queen has gone from bratty teenager with anger issues to a mature young woman taking up the reins as a hero. But she's had plenty of trials along the way from the fact Oliver was missing for 5 years to the death of her mother to finding out Malcolm Merlyn is her true father. She's also served a community service stint after the events of "Vertigo" and eventually finds love in Roy Harper (which only started post him stealing her purse) along with facing her demons. Over the 3 seasons to date she's also discovered Oliver's double life as the Arrow and they were starting to regain the once tight bond they had as brother and sister. She's also taken over Verdant, making it thrive in the process. But as she's found moments of happiness she's also faced pain not only from Malcolm Merlyn and the summer she spent training with him to the fact she killed Sara Lance while brainwashed (something she discovers later on leading to an emotional downward spiral which she comes out of after at least one attempt at getting herself killed). But things came to a head in "Broken Arrow" when Ra's Al Ghul invaded her apartment and stabbed her in the chest while fighting her, sending her crashing through a glass coffee table in the process.
During this moment is when Q makes his move, grabbing the woman who eventually becomes Speedy and dumping her into Ten Forward while still bleeding. She quickly passes out soon after.
Character's personality: If she was being honest Thea would admit she was a total brat in the 5 years Oliver was on the island. But before that she had been a classic good girl with a loving family and plenty of friends. She did change during that 5 years, quickly becoming reckless and embracing everything crazy. She also took to booze and occasional pills to drown her pain, quickly becoming bitter when Oliver does return. But over the 3 seasons to date she's grown up emotionally and has become a mature young businesswoman in a happy and stable (well given that Roy is also Arsenal) relationship. She loves deeply, is very loyal to her family and the handful she can trust and has been clean for almost 2 years (something she's quite proud of). Sure she's still got an occasional moment of impulsive thinking and is still a little reckless, but Thea Queen has become a fighter and a woman that nobody would have seen just 3 years ago.
Once she wakes up from the stabbing she'll also live in fear of having a relapse while trying to understand a time very much not her own. Add in not having the people she loves around and cue a somewhat darker and rawer Thea. But once she can trust someone she'll quickly bloom into that confident and brave young woman she's quickly become.
Character's skills/abilities/powers: Vanilla human female in early 20s but is a trained and expert archer and is trained in a few other fighting styles. She's also in amazing shape and is smarter than she looks at times.

Why do you want to play this character in Ten Forward, and what do you plan to do with them? Thea is someone who I have only played once before but a place like Ten Forward can only lead to her growing as a person along with finally facing her demons in the process. I also want to explore the emotional fallout of almost dying (since it did happen at this point in canon) along with her embracing the idea of eventually becoming Speedy. Plus she's also in recovery as an addict and being beaten to a pulp and stabbed can only trigger a near relapse.
